Assistant Professor - Pedagogy of Tamil

Job Description

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Pedagogy of Tamil will be responsible for teaching, research and other academic activities in the field of Tamil Pedagogy. The candidate will also be involved in curriculum development, student assessment and evaluation, and other academic initiatives.

Qualifications

A PhD degree in Tamil Pedagogy or a related field Strong knowledge of Tamil language and literature Experience in teaching and research in Tamil Pedagogy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate students to achieve academic excellence

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Tamil Pedagogy Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and course materials Conduct research in the field of Tamil Pedagogy and publish findings in academic journals Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Supervise student projects and dissertations Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field
