Professor-Pedagogy of History

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professor to join our Department of Pedagogy of History at JKKN College of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of history education.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of history pedagogy. Develop and implement innovative instructional strategies and materials to enhance student learning. Conduct and publish scholarly research in the field of history education. Mentor students and provide guidance and support for their academic and professional development. Participate in department and college committees and initiatives. Engage in professional development activities to stay current with trends and advancements in the field.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in History Education or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience teaching history at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. A strong record of scholarly research and publication in the field of history education. Experience developing and implementing innovative instructional strategies and materials. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the wider community. Ability to work effectively as a team member and to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.

Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
