Job Description
The Assistant Professor in the Department of OBG will be responsible for teaching, research, and service activities related to obstetrics and gynecology. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's vision and mission by providing innovative teaching, conducting cutting-edge research, and engaging in community outreach activities.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in obstetrics and gynecology Develop and deliver engaging, interactive, and effective course content Conduct research in obstetrics and gynecology and publish in peer-reviewed journals Participate in community outreach activities related to obstetrics and gynecology Participate in departmental and college committees and activities Advise and mentor students Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications
A doctoral degree in nursing (Ph.D., D.N.P., or equivalent) from an accredited institution A minimum of two years of teaching experience in obstetrics and gynecology at the undergraduate or graduate level Demonstrated expertise in obstetrics and gynecology research A record of scholarly productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals Experience in community outreach activities related to obstetrics and gynecology Excellent written and oral communication skills A commitment to the college's vision and mission Eligible fields: Obstetrics Gynecology Women's Health Reproductive Health Perinatal Nursing
