Job Description

As an Associate Professor at JKKN College of Allied Health Science, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the college's vision and mission by engaging in teaching, research, and leadership activities. You will contribute to the academic excellence and growth of the institution while preparing students to become dynamic leaders in the field of allied health sciences.

Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging and innovative lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in your specialized field of allied health sciences. Contribute to the development and enhancement of curriculum materials that align with the college's vision and mission. Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and experiential learning. Research and Scholarly Activities: Conduct impactful research in your area of expertise, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in allied health sciences. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences to showcase the college's commitment to innovation and scholarship. Mentor and guide students in research projects and foster a culture of research excellence. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them realize their potential and become dynamic leaders in allied health sciences. Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary approaches to education and research. Participate in academic committees and contribute to the strategic planning and development of the college. Community Engagement and Outreach: Engage with the broader community, forging partnerships and collaborations that align with the college's vision and mission. Contribute to outreach initiatives that promote the importance of allied health sciences in addressing societal needs.

Qualifications

A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant allied health sciences discipline. Prefer 8 years experience Significant research contributions demonstrated through publications, presentations, and a strong research agenda. Teaching experience at the university level, with a commitment to innovative and effective pedagogical approaches. A track record of leadership, mentorship, and collaboration within an academic or professional setting. Demonstrated alignment with the college's vision and mission, with a passion for contributing to innovative solutions in allied health sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in curriculum development and program leadership. Strong network and connections within the allied health sciences community. Previous involvement in community engagement and outreach activities.
