Job Summary

The Tutor / Clinical Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical instruction, guiding pre-clinical laboratory sessions, and supervising clinical practical postings. Working closely with senior medical faculty, doctors, and nursing teams, the candidate will train undergraduate students in operation, maintenance, emergency protocols, and patient care management specific to their specialization.

Academic Qualifications & Mandatory Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc or M.Sc in the respective Allied Health Science discipline (CT, CCT, RT, OTAT, PA, DT, MRS/RIT, AECT) or a closely related medical technology field from a recognized university.

• Academic Record: Strong academic track record with demonstrated subject mastery in chosen clinical technology.

• Experience: Open to fresh graduates with strong practical expertise; relevant clinical or academic experience is preferred.

• Registration/Compliance: Compliance with statutory university norms and applicable healthcare regulatory board standards for allied health instructors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic & Practical Instruction

• Deliver lectures, lab demonstrations, and viva sessions tailored to the specialized departmental curriculum.

• Train students in handling, testing, calibrating, and sterilizing domain-specific equipment (e.g., dialysis machines, ventilators, OT suites, imaging units, ECG/echo equipment).

• Monitor and adjust patient parameters under clinical supervision during live procedural postings (e.g., fluid removal rates, anesthesia preparation, imaging exposure).

• Respond promptly to clinical emergency scenarios alongside doctors, nurses, and chief technologists.

2. AI & Digital Integration (The JKKN Imperative)

• Instruct students on leveraging AI-assisted diagnostic tools, automated patient monitoring systems, and digital health records (EMR).

• Utilize generative AI and digital platforms for curriculum enrichment, interactive clinical case study creation, and student performance tracking.

• Participate in multidisciplinary hackathons, simulation labs, and project-based learning initiatives within the JKKN ecosystem.

3. Patient Care & Clinical Safety

• Educate students on infection control, aseptic techniques, safety protocols, and biosafety guidelines.

• Guide students in patient communication, physical and emotional support, pre-procedure counseling, and health maintenance education.
