Solutions Manager

Job Description

The Solutions Manager will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation and practical application within JKKN Institutions, aligning academic research and development with commercial viability. They will facilitate communication between the academic and business sectors, ensuring the smooth transition of projects from JKKN Institutions to JICATE Solutions.

Responsibilities

Identify potential projects within JKKN Institutions for commercialization. Facilitate communication and collaboration between JKKN Institutions and JICATE Solutions. Develop and implement strategies for the commercialization of projects. Coordinate with researchers, faculty, and JICATE Solutions to transition projects from the academic environment to the commercial sphere. Monitor and report on the progress of projects, ensuring they are on track for commercialization. Assist in identifying and securing potential funding or investment opportunities for projects. Maintain an understanding of current market trends and potential opportunities that align with ongoing research and development within JKKN Institutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a higher education or research institution. Understanding of both the academic and business environments, with experience in transitioning projects from research to commercial applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster relationships between different sectors. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential opportunities and risks. Knowledge of current market trends and potential opportunities in the sectors relevant to JKKN Institutions. Experience in securing funding or investment for projects would be a plus.
