Senior Lecturer

Job Description

The Senior Lecturer in the Department of Prosthodontics will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training to students. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of prosthodontics. They will work closely with other faculty members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curricula, as well as participate in research and other scholarly activities.

Responsibilities

Develop and teach courses related to prosthodontics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curricula to ensure high-quality education and training for students. Supervise and mentor students in clinical and research activities. Participate in research and other scholarly activities, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at academic conferences. Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities as required. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with new developments and technologies in prosthodontics.

Qualification

A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Prosthodontics or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level Experience in teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level Strong commitment to advancing the field of prosthodontics through research and other scholarly activities. Proven ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members, staff, and students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities and priorities effectively.
