Senior Lecturer

Job Description

The Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry is responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and conducting research in the field of Biochemistry. The individual will be required to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, conduct research, publish scholarly papers, and contribute to the development of the department.

Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Designing and implementing course materials and lesson plans. Developing and supervising research projects in the field of Biochemistry. Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Mentoring and advising students. Contributing to the development of the department and the institution. Participating in faculty meetings and other institutional activities.

Qualifications

Post graduate degree(M.D.S)in Biochemistry or equivalent qualification Minimum of five years of teaching and research experience in the field of Biochemistry. Experience in mentoring and advising students. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students. Eligible Fields: Molecular Biology Enzymology Immunology Metabolism Bioinformatics Biophysics Proteomics
