Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Professor to join the Department of Pedagogy of Physical Science. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and research that aligns with the college's vision and mission.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physical science education Mentor students and guide their academic and professional growth Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in the field of physical science education Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives Engage in outreach activities to promote the field of physical science education and the college Maintain an active and visible research program and secure external funding Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
Qualifications
An earned PhD or equivalent degree in Physical Science Education or a related field A record of excellence in teaching, research, and service A strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education Experience in securing external funding and conducting research in physical science education Ability to collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive departmental culture Strong written and verbal communication skills
