Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Principal. The Principal will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and operation of the JKKN College of Nursing, contributing to the seamless flow of resources that support our educational initiatives. This role requires a dedicated individual who can uphold our vision and mission through effective academic and administrative qualities. Job Responsibilities Strategic Leadership – Align the academic and administrative functions and implement innovative strategies. Curricular Oversight – Develop, Revise and implement the curriculum in line with the latest advancement in nursing and higher education. Faculty Development – to mentor and guide faculty in pedagogic and research excellence Resource Allocation - Effectively manage the budget, resources, and infrastructure Global Partnership – Integrate global perspectives. Cultivate and initiate collaborations with international institutions. Compliance and accreditation Extensive knowledge of academic accreditation and compliance procedures Community Engagement – Serve as the face of the institution to the broader community and establish it as a hub for innovative solutions in dental healthcare. Student Welfare – Provide an overall safe environment for students to explore opportunities for their overall development. Advisory - Serve as the chief academic advisor to the Board of Directors and Academic Council, making evidence-based recommendations for institutional improvement. Innovation Management – Introduce initiatives aimed at technological advancement, curriculum innovation and uptrend educational practices. Other relevant Fields: Higher knowledge in Surgery, Clinical and Medicinal applications Educational Leadership Health and Nursing Care Management Exceptional Communication and Leadership Skills Strong global perspective and openness to leveraging emerging technologies

Educational Qualification

Principal cum Professor – 15 years’ experience with M.Sc (Nursing) out of which 12 years should be teaching experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in collegiate programme. Ph.D (N) is desirable. Other desirable qualities: Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills to drive the hospital's growth and success. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, patients, stakeholders, and the community. Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and revenue optimization. Interpersonal

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, patients, and external partners. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technologies. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends, patient needs, and technological advancements. Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and quality care.
