Job Description

The Assistant Professor of Tamil will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of Tamil language and literature at JKKN College of Arts and Science. The role involves delivering lectures, conducting seminars and workshops, mentoring and guiding students, and contributing to the development of the department.

Responsibilities

Delivering lectures and conducting seminars and workshops in Tamil language and literature Mentoring and guiding students to help them achieve academic and personal growth Conducting research in the field of Tamil language and literature Contributing to the development of the department and the institution as a whole Participating in departmental and institutional meetings, committees, and events

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent degree in Tamil language and literature A minimum of two years of teaching experience in the relevant field Proven track record of research publications and presentations Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Passion for teaching and mentoring students Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment
