Assistant Professor

Job Description

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of anaesthesia and operation theatre technology. The individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of the curriculum, as well as the delivery of lectures, tutorials and practical sessions. The Assistant professor will also be responsible for the supervision of students' research projects, and for providing guidance and support to students in their professional development.

Responsibilities

Teach and instruct students in the field of operation theatre and anaesthesia technology Develop and maintain curriculum for the department Supervise and mentor students in practical and clinical settings Conduct research and contribute to the ongoing development of the department Participate in department meetings and college-wide initiatives

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Anaesthesia Technology or a related field Experience teaching in higher education Strong knowledge and experience in the field of anaesthesia technology and operation theatre management Strong research and publication record Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students Eligible fields: Anaesthesia Technology Operation Theatre Management Healthcare Management Medical Science Biomedical Engineering
