Event Summary
A state-level sports competition for pharmacy colleges was held at JKKN College of Pharmacy campus in Kumarapalayam. The event was inaugurated by Chairperson Smt. N. Sendamaraai and Managing Director Shri. S. Ommsharravana, who initiated the competition by serving the first ball. Dr. S. Anandha Thangadurai was the chief guest, and the college Principal Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram welcomed the participants.
Participation
The competition witnessed significant participation from pharmacy institutions across Tamil Nadu:
Volleyball: 23 pharmacy colleges participated in the finals, with Chennai College of Pharmacy, JKKN College of Pharmacy, and Erode College of Pharmacy competing. JKKN College of Pharmacy won with a score of 25-10.
Men's Basketball: 10 pharmacy colleges participated in the finals. Vinayaka Mission's College of Pharmacy and Karpagam College of Pharmacy competed, with Karpagam College winning 16-12.
Women's Basketball: In the finals, Erode College of Pharmacy and JKKN College of Pharmacy competed, with JKK College of Pharmacy winning 10-3.
Women's Throwball: 12 pharmacy colleges participated in the finals. JKK College of Pharmacy won against others with a score of 15-06.
